Our Laser Checks – Plain Background come in a solid plain color gradient background. Your choice of available plain check colors are Blue, Green, Burgundy, and Tan. Our Plain Background checks comply with the cash management systems used by most banks to help reduce incidents of check fraud. The background image disappears when scanned allowing for a clear image capture of the vital data on the check. Laser checks with plain backgrounds enable the bank to review various aspects of a check presented for payment by comparing it against a list of checks issued. Our plain checks are MICR-OCR laser compatible. Our Laser Checks – Plain backgrounds are manufactured with a Thermochromatic ink with a keyhole icon. The Thermochromatic keyhole icon is printed with Thermochromatic (heat sensitive) ink the icon will disappear when heat of 85 degree or above is applied and reappear when cooled. Check may be verified by rubbing or breathing on the icon for instant check authentication. Color copiers cannot replicate Thermochromatic ink and this adds to fraud protection. Fraud Protection is the most important aspects of our printed checks. Our checks easily surpass ordinary standards as defined by the Uniform Commercial Code and have been determined in compliance with Check 21 and ANSI X9.7 standards.
